This session will provide Lower and Upper Elementary teachers with the necessary questions, resources and activities to empower their students to uncover the truth and bring balance to teaching about the Columbus Day and Thanksgiving holidays. We will also provide guidelines and bibliographies to enhance your studies of the “great civilizations” found here on this continent--the amazing 12,000+ years of cultures in our own backyards.
